Long time, no see.

Good lord, has it been a while since I've updated this site. Like I said in my first post, I haven't the slightest idea what I'm really going to put up here for the time being. Anyways, a lot has happened since I last did something here: The world lost a legend at the beginning of this week when George Carlin passed away late Sunday night. I'm not good with words, so I'll just say this: Without Carlin, I probably wouldn't be able to do the kind of comedy that I can do. He will truly be missed. Also, over the past couple of weeks, I've been trying my hand at an open mike in Salisbury, Mass. The show is at LaChiquita's every Tuesday, it's right on route 1 in Salisbury and it starts around 8pm, the show is put on by Dave Rattigan. It's a great place for new comics and the show is a blast, so come on down! Thursday was Monty Python theme night at Slainte, and it was nothing short of AMAZING. All the comics that came rocked the house, and I botched "The Tale of Sir Robin." All in all, it was an experience like no other, and I can't wait for the next theme night. In the world of upcoming appearances:
  • As I do every Thursday, I'll be at the Slainte open mike hosted by Brian Brinegar. That's at 24 Preble Street in Portland Maine. The show starts around 8pm.
  • Tuesday, July 1st, I'll be at the La Chiquita's open mike run by Dave Rattigan in Salisbury, Mass. This week's host is Eric Hurst. It's right on route 1, the show starts around 8pm.
  • On August 20th, I'll be performing on the Drink At Work show at the Empire Dine and Dance Club located at 575 Congress St. Portland, ME. If I'm not mistaken, it's just $3 at the door and the show starts at 9pm. More details to follow as I get them. A huge thanks to Brian Giles for getting me booked for this show and for his encouragement in general and thanks everyone up at Slainte, I never would have been booked if not for them.
